I will soon be a 9th grader, in Clements High School in Sugar Land, TX. I aspire to pursue a career in medicine, and I believe this volunteer role is a meaningful step towards that journey.  My parents introduced me to volunteering from my 5th grade. Since then I am doing small , small volunteering at my Church, School and Communities near to where we live.  I love  to join ShoesOverSocks because of my experience caring for my grandmother. I understand how much of an impact small acts of kindness can have on an individual's well-being, and I am committed to making that same positive difference for others.

Helping senior citizens is not only deeply rewarding but also plays an important role in enhancing their quality of life. It supports their independence and provides companionship thereby helping reduce loneliness and depression.

Hi, my name is Saanvi Yeruva and I am currently a 9th grader in Colorado.  I support the mission of ShoesoverSocks because I think it is a wonderful thing to make someone's day a little brighter with a small gesture or thoughtful bit of care. I am excited to see this organization grow in Colorado and see how big of an impact we can make going forward.

I am currently a 10th grader located in Colorado that would like to be a part of ShoesOverSocks because I care about supporting seniors that are suffering from ideomotor apraxia. I want to help provide the support needed for those daily tasks and contribute to a cause that would offer real-world solutions for them that make a difference. This organization stood out to me with its practical approach to helping those with everyday challenges that are often overlooked, especially in ways that help people manage on their own.

My name is Kavin Tripathi, and I am currently in 8th grade. I want to join ShoesOverSocks because I want to help seniors in our community become healthy and successful. Another reason why I want to be part of this is that we can help their memory be better and make them feel better. My grandfather is currently struggling with disease and can’t do day to day activities. I can’t help him as he is in India but would like to help other elders.

Hi! My name is Eshana Vignesh Kumar, and I'm a current freshman in high school during the 2025-2026 school year. I attend Denmark High School, in Alpharetta Georgia. I am eager to be part of ShoesOverSocks, because I believe that the idea of aiding elderly individuals with challenges in daily life activities, is a really thoughtful and beneficial thing. This program can help them accomplish simple tasks that the elderly weren't able to complete prior to receiving help!

Senior citizens are a valuable asset to our society. Spending time with them is rewarding, teaching us important life lessons and helping build meaningful relationships.
